Hello guys! How is everyone doing? I just came back from Seattle this Tuesday. I’ll come up with a blog post very soon, but for now, I want to share with you guys how to make a cup of nice rose congou tea!!!
Well, I am definitely a tea lover. I drink tea almost everyday, black tea, Puer, green tea, floral tea, fruit tea, etc. I bought this Rose Congo from Perennial Tea Room in Seattle. It’s a cute little place on Post Alley at Pike Place Market. If it’s not Hannah, I wouldn’t know about such a nice place. Thanks Hannah!
So this afternoon, I made myself a cup of Rose Congo tea. I first put some tea leaves on my tea pot, and then pour the boiled water in it. You need to pour the boiled water as soon as possible, otherwise when the temperature drops, the flavor would also decrease. Before I actually drink it, I would pour out the first cup of tea because it’s dirty. The first cup of tea is for cleaning the tea leaves and warming up the tea cups. So remember, never drink your first cup of tea ok? And then it’s just personal preference. You can put some milk to make a cup of nice English Milk Tea. Or you can try adding a slice of lemon dipping with some honey to get a fresh flavor. I think it tastes really good to put a slice of lemon inside since it’s summer, it cools me down.
Isn’t it easy to make?! Give it a try and let me know how it goes! Xoxo, Sweet Connie!
