Long time no see my dear friends!! I’ve been so busy with the LAFW and my Fashion Merchandising class that I can’t find the time to update my blog. But finally, I decide to come back here and share all my amazing experience in the past few weeks.
I was fortunate enough to be part of NewLeaper and was in charge of a group of interns for the LA Fashion Week. The prestigious shows produced by Art Hearts Fashion were really eye-opening. During the four days, thousands of guests, celebrities and VIPs gathered together at The Beverly Hilton to enjoy the latest trend for Spring and Summer. Over 30 designers had showcased their newest designs on the runway. Among all of these, I’ve handpicked 10 most gorgeous dresses that will blow your mind.
Inspired by the cloud and storm, Amato Couture has definitely brought some innovation to the gown world. The choker on the neck is so on point.
This dress from Usama Ishtay is just too pretty to be true. Its lace details and fluffy bottom part makes a perfect combination of elegance and feminism.
Fernando Alberto Atelier created an incredible elegant collection that felt fresh yet iconic. This strapless hand cut frayed organza ball gown floated down the runway and would definitely make an entrance.
This color trumps them all. It gives you the right amount of attention with a simple yet unique design.
You can’t go wrong with a dress like this. I love its front design and there is a hint of playfulness with the flower on the shoulder. Not to mention, this gorgeous dress is worn by one of our interns. Cheers Julia!
Who can say no to such a romantic dress?! This column gown stood out not only because of its use of mixed material and simple shape, perfect for the modern woman, but also because its subtle hint of blue below the surface.
Marmar Halim never disappoints. I just can’t take our eyes off the flower detail at front.
I know…it may look weird at the first glance. But look at its floral embroidery and lace mask! Don’t you think Kenneth Barlis has redefined the fashion world?
Black dress is one of the must-haves for every fashion girl. I’ve seen so many black gowns, but this one has once again caught my attention. The sleeveless plus its neckline created the perfect blend of sophistication and romanticism.
Diana Couture has definitely pushed my last one on the list. Known for their use of hand embroidery and luxurious light-weight fabrics, I love this design that played on the V-neck trend.
What do you think of these dresses? Comment below to tell me which one is your favorite! Also, I’ve created a new column called [Fashion Diaries]. Stay tuned cause I’ll constantly update my notes from the fashion merchandising class. If you want to learn all the secrets in the fashion industry, Sweet Connie must be your best go-to 🙂
