When it comes to summer, there is one trend that retailers can’t stop selling, celebrities can’t stop wearing, and we can’t stop buying. I’ve been following fashion for several years and until lately, I finally landed my career in this amazing industry. My role everyday includes a major part of doing product research. That’s why I can find these in-style flats. Trust me, it feels good to know the trend before everybody else does.
I recently have been asked a lot about where I get my shoes. Confession: I buy from different channels. I love designer pieces. Gucci has some of the best design this season! I just got a pair of this. My friend also got this one and this one. But I also love fast-fashion brands like Topshop and Zara. I also buy several pairs of shoes when I travelled back to China. So it really depends. As long as it is good looking and affordable, I’ll get it!
My philosophy of shoes is to get the ones that are both comfy and in style. I am a very picky customer and I have my own rules. Even though birkenstock was once very popular, or perhaps it still hits, I never bother to buy one. Hermes’ flip flop is also what I dislike. Seriously women?!! Do you really think these are good-looking? I doubt it! Don’t ever buy something just because it is trendy but not because you love it. Invest smartly in classic pieces!
